A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of assisting a great photographer friend, Rhobin Tudyk (rdenisephotography.com) for Erica and Raymond's gorgeous San Antonio Wedding at the oh-so-beautiful venue: Gardens of Cranesberry View. I was so excited about this location and despite the ugly cold, rainy weather - everything turned out just perfect because love was in the air. Raymond's eyes lit up the instant he saw his bride, his nerves instantly looked to vanish and together during their gorgeous ceremony they shared their own written vows which were so sincere and deeply from their hearts. I love seeing people open themselves so vulnerably in front of those they care about, this is what makes weddings so special and it makes me so honored to be a part of these moments to capture the joy which is felt from everyone. Seeing them jump the broom had me giddy like a school girl. How neat for me to witness such a tradition! The reception was beautiful, filled with decor put together by Erica herself. And then the party started...talk about movin' and groovin'! When your friends dance like a group of hip hop dancers from "So you think you can Dance?!" how could I not want to put my camera down and boogy down with them?! But you know, that's not very professional. :-/
Congratulations Erica and Raymond! May you have the happiest of lives together and may the love you felt on your special day always be remembered and felt always.
Thank you for allowing me to be apart of such an amazing memory! Happy New Year!
