Emma's mom said "she want's something DIFFERENT. So feel free to get as creative as you would like, we trust you." It was like the birds started singing and fireworks went off. This is what photographers live for. Complete creative freedom. It's EXCITING. It's a break from the norm. It's knowing that your client trusts you fully and will just go with the flow because they know it'll be unique and most of all FUN. So a couple of days later I messaged Emma and said "What about a laundromat?!" She instantly responded "YES! That sounds so fun, let's do it."
She embraced it and we just took over this laundromat for an hour. Of course we got weird stares from the few people there, but they had no idea the magic that was happening! haha!
Emma rocked this shoot. Afterward we went into downtown, I'll be posting part 2 from her session soon, because they are just as epic. This girl is a NATURAL and completely fearless in front of the camera. She embraced every moment and moved effortlessly. So next time you have a location that seems off the wall - let's talk about it! I'm sure we can make magic happen. :)
Thank you Emma for choosing me to capture your senior portraits! It was an honor.
