Javier and Mariana wanted something different! An engagement session in the evening - being that I'm mainly a natural light photographer this was a fun change of pace for me and I was really excited... They were so much fun to be around, and it was a joy to watch how easily Javier can make Mariana smile. The first time I met this awesome couple, we sat in Starbucks for 2 hours and just talked wedding-talk and about random things. I'll never forget that Javier brought a Sports Illustrated magazine to the consultation - he was prepared for another BORING wedding-consultation. I won however, because he didn't open it once! We all just clicked. Another exciting thing is that I am also going to have the pleasure of photographing Mariana's younger sister's wedding in June, and I couldn't be happier to be around these sisters together, cause I adore them both individually! How special that they get to experience being engaged at the same time! Mariana is going to make the most beautiful bride and I just know on her big day she'll be beaming that big smile and I just cross my fingers my camera can capture it all! :)
