Wow what a year 2012 has been! It's been a year of dreams come true, to say the least. This time last year I was praying I would be able to quit my full time job at a major bank as a mortgage loan officer in order to do the work I truly loved: photographing amazing people FULL TIME. And in May of 2012 that dream came true! This time last year I was praying I would be able to photograph AT LEAST 6 weddings, I more than doubled that this year PLUS packed my camera gear twice for TWO beautiful destination weddings in Puerto Rico and Denver, Colorado. I fulfilled my dreams in so many ways, and crossed a handful of things off my bucket list. My husband even joined my business and I can't be happier working alongside him as we continue to grow. I have great makeup artists and have worked with some great assistants and have made great friends with other photographers. I also had the honor to capture some fellow photographers families this year - what an honor! I couldn't be living my dreams without all of my amazing clients. I seriously have the best job ever! I don't just say that to say it, I truly mean it from every part of my heart. I LOVE, LOVE what I do. I get to capture beautiful memories for families as major milestones such as new babies and growing families, birthdays, graduations with seniors from both high school and college, new love and marriage and countless other things - I get to be with so many of you during the BEST times of YOUR life! How is that NOT the COOLEST thing EVER?! I hold all of your memories so dear to my heart and know how serious it all is to you, which is why it's so serious for me BUT at the same time we have the BEST time together. I adore each one of you and am so honored to call so, so many of you my friends. Without you, my amazing clients, I wouldn't be where I am and I never, ever take it for granted. Thank you for choosing me, thank you for trusting me, thank you for supporting me, thank you for referring me to your friends and family: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! <3 I am beyond excited for 2013 and the many more memories I know I will be capturing soon. I have many weddings already booked with the most incredible couples, I have beautiful seniors that are already planning their wardrobes for their upcoming sessions, I have beautiful momma's to be so eagerly awaiting their newest members of their families, and I will continue to capture growing families in 2013 as I did in 2012! We have big plans to make things bigger, better and a more amazing experience for everyone in 2013. Stay tuned!
